Hmmm. I agree that we have to recognize our good points as well as our bad, I do think we have an obligation to note and comment on others' good points as well. The world is just a happier place when we do. :)

I'm not sure that is 'recognition' as much as it is blatant ego stroking.
However, since it happens to be correct, and you are indeed awesome to the freakin' level...I will let it slide.
