I don't understand cats at all... being allergic I've never had one... but our schnauzer has been acting really peevish since we got home... it's not like he was alone during that week after hubby's accident... but I guess he felt abandoned when we were both gone twice in one month...
Anyway, it's pretty clear to me that our dog who is normally quite well behaved has a real vindictive streak when he thinks he has been wronged...
Don't kill the cat, please.. Get some stuff at the pet store called, Miracle... something, Gosh darn i forgot. I will look it up. He wont pee there again and it cleans wonderfully.

Is the litter box clean? sometimes cats can be very picky about where they go and will express displeasure by going in an alternate location.
