Once The Hubby sent me a text that said, "Sorry, I was wrong."
It was over some insignificant thing, like what we needed at the store or when one of the kids would be ready to be picked up.
I saved that text.
And now, on days when he is...ummm...shall we say...hard to love?
I read that text. And pretend he just sent it.

"Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me learn from you, love you, and bless you before you depart. Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. Let me hold you while I may."

going, going, gone...
It's been so nice having all of these children under one roof for the last few weeks. I've found out that as a mom, a part of you never quite exhales until all of your kids are in the same place.
It went too fast...our girl is heading back to school. And even though it's absolutely where she should be, I'm not looking forward to holding my breath again.
